Merino wool superwash DK yarn hand dyed in the Yarntuary colorway “The Twist”, inspired by pastry and chocolate twists and named after the song by Chubby Checker.
The colors represented in the yarn are a golden bread/pastry color and a rich chocolate color similar to Nutella.
In addition to bread and chocolate twists, working with the yarn also reminded me of Hello Panda cookies, with their crunchy shell and chocolate filling, and Pocky biscuit sticks dipped in chocolate. Such a yummy, warm and fun colorway!
This yarn is soft and squishy! It can be used to make items such as beanies, scarves, shawls, cowls, and more!
This is a 100% Superwash Merino Wool DK-weight yarn (230 yd/, 100g/3.5 oz, weight 3).
Each hank is dyed by hand and due to the nature of the process, each one is unique. There is not one that is exactly like another. If working with more than one hank in a project, it is recommended to switch between hanks every few rows.
The yarn has been dyed using professional acid dyes and thoroughly rinsed in order to prevent bleeding, but I would still recommend hand washing on its own for the first wash.
Hand wash items made with this yarn in room temperature water or machine wash on gentle cycle in cool water with low spin. Air dry.
