Merino wool superwash sock/fingering yarn hand dyed in a one-of-a-kind variant (trial 35) of the Yarntuary colorway "She’ll Kill You", inspired by the character Eleven from the Netflix show, Stranger Things.
This variant is super special because it was made on the journey to discovering the final color. There isn’t and won’t be another like this one! I enjoy the more modern look of this variant!
The name She’ll Kill You is not only a super awesome line from the show, but also the name of the score track that plays during the scene in the show where Eleven comes to rescue Mike.
Although this hank varies from the final colorway, the intention of the colors is the same. Colors incorporated into each hank of yarn represent Eleven’s hair, blood (from when she does her magic), pink dress and yellow and green striped socks, as well as Mike’s blue jacket.
When stitched up, these colors come together in a combination that is quite unique!
This is a great fingering weight, superwash, sock yarn, composed of 75% merino wool, 10% cashmere and 15% nylon. It is 452 yd and 100 g. Sourced from suppliers that do not perform mulesing.
Each hank is dyed by hand and due to the nature of the process, each one is unique. There is not one that is exactly like another.
The yarn has been dyed using professional acid dyes and thoroughly rinsed in order to prevent bleeding, but I would still recommend hand washing on its own for the first wash.
Hand wash garments made with this yarn in room temperature water or machine wash on gentle cycle in cool water with low spin. Air dry.
