Marled Merino wool, Peruvian Fine Highland wool and nylon yarn hand dyed in the Yarntuary colorway “Radio”, named after the song by Lana Del Rey.
This colorway is a warm, rich cinnamon brown. It reminds me of holidays and woodsy winters.
The marled wools add an element of uniqueness to this yarn.
As with all Yarntuary yarn, each hank of yarn is dyed individually by hand.
The marled yarn is composed of 40% Merino wool, 40% Peruvian Fine Highland wool and 20% nylon. It is a 4-ply sock/ fingering weight 1 yarn containing 425 yd and weighing 100 g.
The yarn has been dyed using professional acid dyes and thoroughly rinsed in order to prevent bleeding, but I would still recommend hand washing on its own for the first wash.
Hand wash garments made with this yarn in room temperature water. It is not super wash because of the Peruvian Fine Highland wool. Air dry.
The bare wool is sourced from suppliers that do not perform mulesing.
