Merino wool and nylon yarn hand dyed in a OOAK (one of a kind) variant of “Mother Big River”, named after the song by Jessica Pratt.
This variant differs from the final signature colorway in that the color is more blue/cooler in tone.
The yarn is soft and versatile as it can be used to make socks as well as shawls, scarves and other garments.
This is a fingering weight, superwash, sock yarn, composed of 75% Merino wool and 25% nylon. Each hank contains ~400 yd and weighs 100 g.
The yarn has been dyed using professional acid dyes and thoroughly rinsed in order to prevent bleeding, but I would still recommend hand washing on its own for the first wash.
Hand wash garments made with this yarn in room temperature water or machine wash on gentle cycle in cool water with low spin. Air dry.
I do accept returns and exchanges. Your happiness as a customer of the shop is very important to me!
The wool is sourced from suppliers that do not perform mulesing.
