This listing is for one hank of hand dyed Merino wool, cashmere and nylon sock-weight yarn in a OOAK variant of the Yarntuary colorway “I Know What I Saw”, named after the score track from Stranger Things by Kyle Dixon and Michael Stein.
The colorway is inspired by bath/the depravation tank in the scenes of Stranger Things Season one when Eleven is in the depravation tank looking out.
This variant differs from the final colorway in that it is a little deeper and more green. This was my favorite trial of this colorway.
The yarn is a luxurious, fingering/sock (weight 1) superwash yarn, composed of 80% merino wool and 20% nylon. It contains 400 yd and weighs 100 g.
It can be used to make a wide variety of items, such as socks, scarves, cowls and shawls.
The yarn has been dyed using professional acid dyes and thoroughly rinsed in order to prevent bleeding, but I would still recommend hand washing on its own for the first wash.
Hand wash garments made with this yarn in room temperature water or machine wash on gentle cycle in cool water with low spin. Air dry.
The bare wool is sourced from suppliers that do not perform mulesing.
I do accept returns and exchanges. Your happiness as a customer of the shop is very important to me!
Check out companion colorways “Eleven is Gone”, inspired by Eleven in her suit and electrodes in Season 1, and “Making Contact”, inspired by the blackness Eleven faces when in the deprivation tank before seeing the Demogorgon.
