This listing is for one hank of hand dyed Merino wool yarn in the color Old Money, inspired by and named after the Lana Del Rey song and her reference to blue hydrangea in her memory.
The colors in the yarn are green and deep blue and purple.
The yarn is soft and the ply is gorgeous. It is also versatile in that it can be used to make socks, shawls, scarves and other garments.
This is a fingering weight, 2-ply, superwash, sock yarn, composed of 100% merino wool. It contains 399 yd and weighs 100 g.
The wool is sourced from suppliers that do not perform mulesing.
Each hank is dyed by hand individually and due to the nature of the process, each one is unique. There is not one that is exactly like another.
The yarn has been dyed using professional acid dyes and thoroughly rinsed in order to prevent bleeding, but I would still recommend hand washing on its own for the first wash.
Hand wash garments made with this yarn in room temperature water or machine wash on gentle cycle in cool water with low spin. Air dry.Â
