🎧” Melting like an ice cream
When you smile
Melting you’re a daydream
Stay a while...” - Kali Uchis
This listing is for one hank of luxury hand dyed Merino wool and camel aran yarn in the Yarntuary colorway Melting, inspired by mint chocolate chip ice cream and named named after the song “Melting” by Kali Uchis.
This yarn is mint colored with little pops of chocolate brown all over. When you work it up, the little pops of brown will appear smaller. It makes for a beautiful finished product.
This yarn is soft and definitely on the chunkier side as far as aran yarns go. It would be perfect for scarves, cowls and beanie.Â
It is an Aran (weight 4) non-superwash yarn composed of 55% Merino wool and 45% camel. It contains 153 yds/140m and weighs 100 g.
The bare wool is sourced from suppliers that do not perform mulesing.
Each hank is dyed by hand and due to the nature of the process, each one is unique. There is not one that is exactly like another. If working with more than one hank in a project, it is recommended to switch between hanks every few rows.
The yarn has been dyed using professional acid dyes and thoroughly rinsed in order to prevent bleeding, but I would still recommend hand washing on its own for the first wash.
Hand wash garments made with this yarn in room temperature water. Air dry.Â
