Merino wool and cashmere superwash sock/fingering yarn hand dyed in the Yarntuary colorway “Margaritaville”, inspired by and named after Margaritas and the song by Jimmy Buffett.
Looking at this beachy yarn and imagining myself stitching away at the beach with a margarita and yarn to match it gives me super happy vibes!
The color of the yarn is a light and unique sea green color.
This is a 4-ply fingering weight, superwash sock yarn composed of 75% Merino wool, 10% cashmere and 15% nylon. It contains 425 yd and weighs 100 g.
This yarn is luxurious and soft. It works up beautifully, making garments with stunning drape. You can make just about any garment you like with this yarn, such as socks, a scarf, beachy shawl, beanie, mittens, etc.
The bare wool is sourced from suppliers that do not perform mulesing.
The yarn has been hand dyed using professional acid dyes and thoroughly rinsed in order to prevent bleeding, but it is still recommended to hand wash garments made from this yarn on their own for the first wash.
Hand wash garments made with this yarn in room temperature water or machine wash on gentle cycle in cool water with low spin. Air dry.
