Merino wool superwash DK yarn hand dyed in the Yarntuary colorway “Lollipop”, named after the song by The Chordettes.
This colorway was inspired by rainbow-colored twisty lollipops and originally released during the month of June in support of the LGBTQIA community.
The colorful rainbow in this yarn is super vibrant! The colors are applied by hand; it takes me about 20 minutes to apply the colors for each hank of yarn!
This yarn is soft and bouncy. It can be used to make items such as beanies, scarves, shawls, cowls, sweaters and more!
It is a 4-ply 100% Superwash Merino Wool DK weight yarn (246 yd/220 m, 100g/3.5 oz, weight 3).
Each hank is dyed by hand individually and due to the nature of the process, each one is unique. There is not one that is exactly like another.
The yarn has been dyed using professional acid dyes and thoroughly rinsed in order to prevent bleeding, but I would still recommend hand washing on its own for the first wash.
Hand wash garments made with this yarn in room temperature water or machine wash on gentle cycle in cool water with low spin. Air dry.
