🎧”Cause I’m not going back
To the way I used to be
Oh no, oh no, oh no
Hey love,
Show me what it’s like to be free...” – Jeremiah Lloyd Harmon
This listing is for one hank of hand dyed wool lace weight yarn in the color Lake Rita, named after the song by Jeremiah Lloyd Harmon off his 2020 album Namesake, one of my favorite albums of all time.Â
This song in particular strikes a cord each time I listen to it. The dark blue color of the yarn was meant to be the color of the sky over the lake, a peaceful dark blue.Â
This yarn is luxurious and soft. It would make beautiful scarves and shawls.Â
It is a lace weight, superwash, sock yarn, composed of 100% Merino wool. One hank contains 765 yd and weighs 100 g.
The bare wool comes from South America and is sourced from suppliers that do not perform mulesing.
The yarn has been hand dyed using professional acid dyes and thoroughly rinsed in order to prevent bleeding, but it is still recommended to hand wash garments made from this yarn on their own for the first wash.
Hand wash garments made with this yarn in room temperature water or machine wash on gentle cycle in cool water with low spin. Air dry.Â
