Merino wool superwash bulky/chunky yarn hand dyed in the Yarntuary colorway “It’s Beginning to Look a Lot like Christmas”, named after the song by Perry Como & the Fontane Sisters.
This colorway was inspired by those seasonal Christmas tree cakes we are all so used to seeing around the holidays! Each features the colors of the red stripes and green sprinkles on white icing, as well as the cake and cream inside!
The yarn is a 100% fine Superwash Merino wool, 2-ply, chunky (weight 5) yarn containing 109 yd/100 m and weighing 100g.
As with all Yarntuary yarn, each hank of yarn is dyed by hand. Due to the nature of the process, each hank is unique. There is not one that is exactly like another.
The yarn has been dyed using professional acid dyes and thoroughly rinsed in order to prevent bleeding, but hand washing on its own is still recommended for the first wash.
Hand wash garments made with this yarn in room temperature water or machine wash on gentle cycle in cool water with low spin. Air dry.
Orders over $35 ship free!
The bare wool is sourced from suppliers that do not perform mulesing.
