This listing is for a set of three hand dyed luxurious Merino Wool and Cashmere yarn in a variant of the color Grapefruit, Juicy Fruit, inspired by and named after the song by Jimmy Buffett.

Note: All 3 of these hanks are from the same dye lot. They are unique in that they were produced in the design/experimentation process and will not be reproduced.

What is the difference between this variant batch and the final, signature colorway? The hanks in this batch are slightly less warm/orange and more cool/pink. 

These are a really pretty, light and beachy color. 

This is a 4-ply fingering weight, superwash sock yarn composed of 85% Merino wool, 10% cashmere and 15% nylon. It contains 425 yd and weighs 100 g.

This yarn is luxurious and soft. It works up beautifully, making garments with stunning drape. You can make just about any garment you like with this yarn, such as socks, a scarf, beachy shawl, beanie, mittens, etc. 


The bare wool is sourced from suppliers that do not perform mulesing.

The yarn has been hand dyed using professional acid dyes and thoroughly rinsed in order to prevent bleeding, but it is still recommended to hand wash garments made from this yarn on their own for the first wash.

Hand wash garments made with this yarn in room temperature water or machine wash on gentle cycle in cool water with low spin. Air dry.
