Merino Wool superwash sock/fingering yarn hand dyed in the Yarntuary colorway “Grapefruit, Juicy Fruit”, inspired by and named after the song by Jimmy Buffett.
The yarn is a beautiful, fun, beachy semisolid grapefruit color! It really shines on this base.
It is a 2-ply fingering weight, superwash, sock yarn, composed of 100% Merino wool. It contains 399 yd and weighs 100 g.
It is soft and the ply is gorgeous. You can make just about any garment you like with this yarn, such as socks, a shawl, a beanie, a scarf, etc.
The bare wool is sourced from suppliers that do not perform mulesing.
The yarn has been hand dyed using professional acid dyes and thoroughly rinsed in order to prevent bleeding, but it is still recommended to hand wash garments made from this yarn on their own for the first wash.
Hand wash garments made with this yarn in room temperature water or machine wash on gentle cycle in cool water with low spin. Air dry.
