Merino wool and nylon superwash sock/fingering yarn hand dyed in a one of a kind variant of the Yarntuary colorway “Gods and Monsters”, named after the song by Lana Del Rey.
This variant was made during Trial 2 of experimentation for the colorway and it is not likely to be be reproduced.
What makes this variant different from the final colorway is 1) the blueish purple is lighter, 2) there is one stripe of black in the blueish purple areas instead of dots made over 2/3 of those areas, 3) there is no black striped in the green area.
The exciting thing about variants is they aren't likely to be reproduced so your yarn will be different than anyone else's!
This yarn is ridiculously cool looking. The colors in the yarn are a creepy light green, a deep blueish purple and black.
This yarn is soft and has nice stitch definition. It can be used to make items such as cowls, beanies and more!
The yarn is an 80% Merino wool, 20% nylon superwash sock/fingering yarn (weight 1) containing 400 yd and weighing 100g.
Each hank is dyed by hand and due to the nature of the process, each one is unique. There is not one that is exactly like another. If working with more than one hank in a project, it is recommended to switch between hanks every few rows.
The yarn has been dyed using professional acid dyes and thoroughly rinsed in order to prevent bleeding, but I would still recommend hand washing on its own for the first wash.
Hand wash items made with this yarn in room temperature water or machine wash on gentle cycle in cool water with low spin. Air dry.
