Sparkly Merino wool and nylon superwash sock/fingering yarn in the Yarntuary colorway “Eleven is Gone”, named after the score track from Stranger Things by Kyle Dixon and Michael Stein.
The colorway is inspired by the character Eleven in the scenes of Season one when she is in the depravation tank.
Represented in the yarn are the colors of her beige bathing suit, brown hair and red, white, black and silver/grey of the electrodes attached to her head.
This yarn is sparkly and unique!
As with all Yarntuary yarn, each hank of yarn is dyed individually by hand.
The yarn is a 3-ply fingering weight, superwash, sock yarn (weight 1), composed of 70% merino wool, 20% nylon and 10% stellina. It contains 400 yd and weighs 100 g.
Due to the nature of the process, each hank is unique. There is not one that is exactly like another.
The yarn has been dyed using professional acid dyes and thoroughly rinsed in order to prevent bleeding, but I would still recommend hand washing on its own for the first wash.
Hand wash garments made with this yarn in room temperature water or machine wash on gentle cycle in cool water with low spin. Air dry.
The bare wool is sourced from suppliers that do not perform mulesing.
I do accept returns and exchanges. Your happiness as a customer of the shop is very important to me!
Check out companion colorways “I Know What I Saw”, inspired by the color of the water on the deprivation tank/bath, and “Making Contact”, inspired by the black darkness she finds herself in during her time in the tank.
