![OOAK Variant (Trial 2) of Velvet - Hand Superwash Wool, Mohair and Acrylic DK Yarn](http://yarntuary.com/cdn/shop/files/A882AE04-948C-48D5-A331-50CB62CD6297_{width}x.jpg?v=1737928007)
Hand dyed wool, mohair and acrylic weight 3 yarn in a OOAK variant (trial 2) of the Yarntuary colorway “Velvet”, inspired by red velvet cake (two-tiered) and named after the song by KIRBY.
Colors represented in the yarn are the maroon color of the cake and cream of the icing. Looks delicious, but don’t eat it!
The main differences between the final colorway and this variant is the cake color in this variant is much cooler, doesn’t have much red and there is a mix of pink and peach bleeds from the cake color.
This yarn is soft and has a unique, silky look! It can be used to make items such as beanies, cowls, and more!
This is a 40% Wool, 15% Mohair and 45% Acrylic DK-weight yarn (218 yd/200m, 50g/1.25 oz, weight 3).
The yarn has been dyed using professional acid dyes and thoroughly rinsed in order to prevent bleeding, but I would still recommend hand washing on its own for the first wash.
Hand wash garments made with this yarn in room temperature water or machine wash gentle and cool. Air dry.
