Merino wool superwash sock/fingering yarn in a OOAK (one-of-a-kind) variant of the Yarntuary colorway Chromatica I, inspired by Lady Gaga Oreos and named after the first track on her Chromatica album. This one resulted from the second trial.
The cookie portion is different from the final colorway in that it is lighter and has more of a coral color.
This variant is super pretty and the pinkish orangeish color has a nice creaminess to it.
The yarn is soft and has a gorgeous ply. It is also versatile in that it can be used to make socks, shawls, scarves and other garments.
This is a fingering weight, 2-ply, superwash, sock yarn, composed of 100% merino wool. It contains 399 yd and weighs 100 g.
The wool is sourced from suppliers that do not perform mulesing.
Each hank is dyed by hand individually and due to the nature of the process, each one is unique. There is not one that is exactly like another.
The yarn has been dyed using professional acid dyes and thoroughly rinsed in order to prevent bleeding, but I would still recommend hand washing on its own for the first wash.
Hand wash garments made with this yarn in room temperature water or machine wash on gentle cycle in cool water with low spin. Air dry.
