This listing is for one hank of hand dyed yarn in the color Home for the Holidays, inspired by pumpkin pie and named after the song ”(There’s no place like) Home for the Holidays”.

The colors featured in the yarn represent the warm pumpkin pie filling, crust and dollop of whipped cream on top!

This yarn is very soft and the stitch definition is wonderful. It is a fingering weight, 2-ply, superwash, sock yarn, composed of 100% merino wool (399 yd, 100 g, weight 1).

The wool comes from Italy and is sourced from suppliers that do not perform mulesing.

Each hank is dyed by hand and due to the nature of the process, each one is unique. There is not one that is exactly like another.

The yarn has been dyed using professional acid dyes and thoroughly rinsed in order to prevent bleeding, but I would still recommend hand washing on its own for the first wash.

Hand wash garments made with this yarn in room temperature water or machine wash on gentle cycle in cool water with low spin. Air dry.
