Merino wool and camel worsted/aran yarn hand dyed in the Yarntuary colorway “Wild Honey”, inspired by honey and named after the song by U2.
The color of the yarn is a warm, vibrant golden yellow.
This yarn is soft, plush and definitely on the chunkier side as far as aran yarns go. One hank would make a great cowl or beanie. 3 hanks would make the perfect scarf.
It is an Aran (weight 4) non-superwash yarn composed of 55% Merino wool and 45% camel. It contains 153 yds/140m and weighs 100 g.
The yarn has been dyed using professional acid dyes and thoroughly rinsed in order to prevent bleeding, but I would still recommend hand washing on its own for the first wash.
Hand wash garments made with this yarn in room temperature water. Air dry.
The bare wool is sourced from suppliers that do not perform mulesing.
