Hand dyed Merino wool and nylon yarn in a OOAK variant (trial 7) of the Yarntuary colorway “Upside Down”, inspired by pineapple upside down cake and named after the song by Jack Johnson.
Colors represented in the yarn are the yellow of pineapple, the warm golden color of the soaked cake, whipped cream and cherry red!
This is a wild colorway intended to make garments that pop! It looks best paired with denim, black, white, pink and chartreuse.
What’s makes this variant different from the final colorway? The pineapple color is more gold, the cake is darker and the red is warmer. Honestly, looking back this one could have been the final colorway!
This yarn is soft and bouncy. It can be used to make items such as beanies, scarves, shawls, cowls, and more!
100% Superwash Merino Wool (230 yd, 100g/3.5 oz, DK - weight 3).
The yarn has been dyed using professional acid dyes and thoroughly rinsed in order to prevent bleeding, but I would still recommend hand washing on its own for the first wash.
Hand wash items made with this yarn in room temperature water or machine wash on gentle cycle in cool water with low spin. Air dry.
