Merino wool superwash sock/fingering yarn hand dyed in the Yarntuary colorway “There’s Something in the House”, inspired by the Demogorgon from Stranger Things and named after the score track by Kyle Dixon and Michael Stein. The track plays in one of the Season 1 scenes where the Demogorgon appears at Will’s house.

The colors featured in the yarn are intended to represent the body of the Demogorgon and its bloody head. The white, or less red, portions in the bloody head parts are my attempt at showing all his teeth!

The combination of these colors in this yarn is unique for sure!

This yarn would work well for making, cowls, scarves, shawls, socks and more!

This is a fingering weight, superwash sock yarn, composed of 80% merino wool, 20% nylon. It contains 400 yd and weighs 100 g.

Each hank is dyed by hand and due to the nature of the process, each one is unique. There is not one that is exactly like another.

The yarn has been dyed using professional acid dyes and thoroughly rinsed in order to prevent bleeding, but I would still recommend hand washing on its own for the first wash.

Hand wash garments made with this yarn in room temperature water or machine wash on gentle cycle in cool water with low spin. Air dry

The wool is sourced from suppliers that do not perform mulesing.
