Merino wool and recycled nylon superwash sock/fingering yarn hand dyed in the Yarntuary colorway “the wind was blowing”, inspired by blue spruce and named after the song by Arny Margret.
The color of this yarn is a beautiful light blue green.
The yarn is a 80% Superwash Merino wool, 20% recycled nylon, 2-ply, sock/fingering (weight 1) yarn containing 400 yd and weighing 100g.
As with all Yarntuary yarn, each hank of yarn is dyed by hand. Due to the nature of the process, each hank is unique. There is not one that is exactly like another.
The yarn has been dyed using professional acid dyes and thoroughly rinsed in order to prevent bleeding, but hand washing on its own is still recommended for the first wash.
Hand wash garments made with this yarn in room temperature water or machine wash on gentle cycle in cool water with low spin. Air dry.
Orders over $35 ship free!
The bare wool is sourced from suppliers that do not perform mulesing.
