Merino wool, cashmere and nylon sock/fingering yarn hand dyed in the Yarntuary colorway “Mornin’ Dart”, inspired by the character Dart from the Netflix show, Stranger Things.
The name comes from the Season 2 scene where Dustin wakes Dart up in the morning and feeds him Nougat. Dart stretches and looks up at Dustin with a happy mouthful. This is the point in the show where Dart is the most colorful, having shades of green, pink, yellow and orange.
The combination of these colors in this yarn is vibrant and warm. Plus, who wouldn’t want to wear a shawl or socks made with Dart yarn! 🤔😜
This is a fingering weight, superwash, sock yarn, composed of 75% merino wool, 10% cashmere and 15% nylon. It is 452 yd and 100 g. Sourced from suppliers that do not perform mulesing.
Each hank is dyed by hand and due to the nature of the process, each one is unique. There is not one that is exactly like another.
The yarn has been dyed using professional acid dyes and thoroughly rinsed in order to prevent bleeding, but I would still recommend hand washing on its own for the first wash.
Hand wash garments made with this yarn in room temperature water or machine wash on gentle cycle in cool water with low spin. Air dry.
