Merino wool and nylon superwash sock/fingering yarn hand dyed in the Yarntuary colorway “Melting”, inspired by mint chocolate chip ice cream and named after the song by Kali Uchis.
This yarn is mint colored with little pops of chocolate brown all over. When you work it up, the little pops of brown will appear smaller. It makes for a beautiful finished product.
This superwash yarn is great for garments like socks and shawls!
This is a fingering weight, superwash, sock yarn, composed of 80% merino wool and 20% nylon. It is 400 yd and 100 g. Sourced from suppliers in Italy that do not perform mulesing.
The bare wool is sourced from suppliers that do not perform mulesing.
Each hank is dyed by hand and due to the nature of the process, each one is unique. There is not one that is exactly like another. If working with more than one hank in a project, it is recommended to switch between hanks every few rows.
The yarn has been dyed using professional acid dyes and thoroughly rinsed in order to prevent bleeding, but I would still recommend hand washing on its own for the first wash.
Hand wash garments made with this yarn in room temperature water or machine wash on gentle cycle in cool water with low spin. Air dry.
