Merino wool and recycled nylon superwash sock/fingering yarn hand dyed in the Yarntuary colorway “Lake Rita”, inspired by and named after the song by Jeremiah Lloyd Harmon.

The color is a deep, dark blue.

The yarn is a yummy, fingering weight, 2-ply, superwash, sock yarn (weight 1), composed of 80% superwash merino wool and 20% recycled nylon. It contains 400 yd and weighs 100 g.

It works up really beautifully and can be used for a wide range of projects, such as socks, sweaters, scarves and more!

As with all Yarntuary yarn, each hank of yarn is dyed individually by hand.

The yarn has been dyed using professional acid dyes and thoroughly rinsed in order to prevent bleeding, but I would still recommend hand washing on its own for the first wash.

Hand wash garments made with this yarn in room temperature water or machine wash on gentle cycle in cool water with low spin. Air dry
