Merino wool and nylon superwash sock/fingering yarn hand dyed in the Yarntuary colorway “If We Were Vampires”, inspired by the song by Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit. It's one of those songs that is so good it makes you cry.
The yarn is a beautiful, gothic, reddish burgundy color with dark spotting over 1/3 of the hank.
This is a fingering weight, superwash, sock yarn, composed of 80% merino wool and 20% nylon. It contains 400 yd and weighs 100 g.

Each hank is dyed by hand and due to the nature of the process, each one is unique. There is not one that is exactly like another.
The yarn has been dyed using professional acid dyes and thoroughly rinsed in order to prevent bleeding, but I would still recommend hand washing on its own for the first wash.
Hand wash garments made with this yarn in room temperature water or machine wash on gentle cycle in cool water with low spin. Air dry.
