Merino wool and nylon superwash sock/fingering yarn hand dyed in the Yarntuary colorway “Horizons”, named after the track by Jasmine Myra.
This colorway is a rich, gorgeous emerald-like green. The pictures don’t do it justice, but the video represents the color best.
I have to admit, it was inspired by the pretty color of Starbucks straws (I don’t use them, but I do admire that vibrant green with a hint of blue), which is why I named it after Horizons, a song from a jazz album I love that you wouldn’t be surprised to hear at a coffee house.
This yarn is a yummy, fingering weight, 2-ply, superwash, sock yarn (weight 1), composed of 80% superwash merino wool and 20% recycled nylon. It contains 400 yd and weighs 100 g.
It works up really beautifully and can be used for a wide range of projects, such as socks, sweaters, scarves and more!
As with all Yarntuary yarn, each hank of yarn is dyed individually by hand.
The yarn has been dyed using professional acid dyes and thoroughly rinsed in order to prevent bleeding, but I would still recommend hand washing on its own for the first wash.
Hand wash garments made with this yarn in room temperature water or machine wash on gentle cycle in cool water with low spin. Air dry.
