Merino wool superwash sock/fingering yarn hand dyed in the Yarntuary colorway “Goodbye”, inspired by one of my favorite songs, “Goodbye”, by Apparat with Soap and Skin.
The yarn reflects the colors seen in the very last second of the beautiful opening credits of the chilling Netflix show “Dark”.
It is very soft and lovely to work with. It can be used to make socks, shawls, sweaters and other garments.
This is a fingering weight, 2-ply, superwash, sock yarn, composed of 100% merino wool. It is 399 yd and 100 g.
The bare wool comes from Italy and is sourced from suppliers that do not perform mulesing.
Each hank is dyed by hand and due to the nature of the process, each one is unique. There is not one that is exactly like another. If working with more than one hank in a project, it is recommended to switch between hanks every few rows.
The yarn has been dyed using professional acid dyes and thoroughly rinsed in order to prevent bleeding, but I would still recommend hand washing on its own for the first wash.
Hand wash garments made with this yarn in room temperature water or machine wash on gentle cycle in cool water with low spin. Air dry.
