Merino wool and recycled nylon superwash sock/fingering yarn hand dyed in the Yarntuary colorway “Deep End”, named after the song by Lykke Li.
This colorway is a beautiful deep blue. When I was working on this color, I was picturing a super deep blue pool liner-like color and it took me a while to match the color I was thinking of. 😊
This yarn is a yummy, fingering weight, 2-ply sock yarn (weight 1), composed of 80% superwash merino wool and 20% recycled nylon. It contains 400 yd and weighs 100 g.
It works up really beautifully and can be used for a wide range of projects, such as socks, sweaters, scarves and more!
As with all Yarntuary yarn, each hank of yarn is dyed individually by hand.
The yarn has been dyed using professional acid dyes and thoroughly rinsed in order to prevent bleeding, but I would still recommend hand washing on its own for the first wash.
Hand wash garments made with this yarn in room temperature water or machine wash on gentle cycle in cool water with low spin. Air dry.
