Merino wool & nylon superwash sock/fingering yarn hand dyed in the Yarntuary colorway “Lollipop”, named after the song by The Chordettes.
This colorway was inspired by rainbow-colored twisty lollipops and released during the month of June in support of the LGBTQIA community.
The colorful rainbow in this yarn is super vibrant! Each color was laboriously applied by hand!
This yarn is soft and lovely to work with. You can use it to make socks, shawls, scarves and other garments.
It is an 80% Merino wool, 20% Nylon, 3-ply, superwash sock yarn composed of 400 yd/366 m, 100g.
The bare wool is sourced from suppliers that do not perform mulesing.
Each hank is dyed by hand individually and due to the nature of the process, each one is unique. There is not one that is exactly like another.
The yarn has been dyed using professional acid dyes and thoroughly rinsed in order to prevent bleeding, but I would still recommend hand washing on its own for the first wash.
Hand wash garments made with this yarn in room temperature water or machine wash on gentle cycle in cool water with low spin. Air dry.
