Merino wool, cashmere and nylon superwash sock/fingering yarn hand dyed in the Yarntuary colorway “Coconut”, inspired by the Harry Nilsson song.
Colors in the yarn represent those of coconut and lime!
This yarn is soft and luxurious . It can be used to make socks, shawls, sweaters and other garments.
This is a fingering weight, superwash, sock yarn, composed of 80% merino wool, 10% cashmere and 10% nylon. It contains 425 yd and weighs 100 g.
The bare fiber comes from Italy and is sourced from suppliers that do not perform mulesing.
Each hank is dyed by hand individually and due to the nature of the process, each one is unique. There is not one that is exactly like another. However, the hanks in this listing are of the same lot. If working with more than one hank in a project, it is recommended to switch between hanks every few rows.
The yarn has been dyed using professional acid dyes and thoroughly rinsed in order to prevent bleeding, but I would still recommend hand washing on its own for the first wash.
Hand wash garments made with this yarn in room temperature water or machine wash on gentle cycle in cool water with low spin. Air dry.
