Sparkly Merino wool and nylon superwash sock/fingering yarn hand dyed in the Yarntuary colorway “Chromatica I”, inspired by Lady Gaga Oreos and named after the first track on her Chromatica album.
This colorway is bright, bold and colorful! Like in the Oreos, the pink and green make a perfect combination that is sure to catch and delight the eye.
This yarn is beautiful, unique and SPARKLY (silver sparkles throughout). It can be used to make socks, shawls, sweaters and other garments.
It is a 3-ply fingering weight, superwash, sock yarn, composed of 70% merino wool, 20% nylon and 10% stellina. It contains 400 yd and weighs 100 g.
Each hank is dyed by hand and due to the nature of the process, each one is unique. There is not one that is exactly like another. If working with more than one hank in a project, it is recommended to switch between hanks every few rows.
The yarn has been dyed using professional acid dyes and thoroughly rinsed in order to prevent bleeding, but I would still recommend hand washing on its own for the first wash.
Hand wash garments made with this yarn in room temperature water or machine wash on gentle cycle in cool water with low spin. Air dry.
The bare wool is sourced from suppliers that do not perform mulesing.
