Merino wool superwash worsted/aran yarn hand dyed in the Yarntuary colorway “Waiting for A Girl Like You”, inspired by the Upside Down in Stranger Things, and the scene where Barb gets pulled into the pool in Season 1, named after the Foreigner song that plays during that scene!
The colors featured in the yarn are intended to represent the brown and tan of the upside down matter, the blue of the night sky and the silver/grey of the pool step handles.
This yarn would work well for making beanies/hats, cowls, scarves, twisted headbands and more!
This is a 4-ply, worsted weight, superwash yarn, composed of 100% merino wool. It contains 215 yd and weighs 100 g.
Each hank is dyed by hand and due to the nature of the process, each one is unique. There is not one that is exactly like another.
The yarn has been dyed using professional acid dyes and thoroughly rinsed in order to prevent bleeding, but I would still recommend hand washing on its own for the first wash.
Hand wash garments made with this yarn in room temperature water or machine wash on gentle cycle in cool water with low spin. Air dry.
The bare wool is sourced from suppliers that do not perform mulesing.
I do accept returns and exchanges. Your happiness as a customer of the shop is very important to me!
