This listing is for one hank of luxury hand dyed Merino wool and camel aran yarn in a one of a kind variant (trial 1) of the Yarntuary colorway Gaal Leaves Synnax, inspired by the green rain coats worn by Gaal as she left Synnax in the TV show Foundation and named after the score track by Bear McCreary that played during that scene.
What makes this variant different from the final signature colorway? The green is lighter and has more blue in it and there are not big differences between the lighter and darker areas of green.
The color of this variant is a really pretty semi-solid rainforest green.
This yarn is soft and definitely on the chunkier side as far as aran yarns go. This hank would make a great cowl or beanie.
It is an Aran (weight 4) non-superwash yarn composed of 55% Merino wool and 45% camel. It contains 153 yds/140m and weighs 100 g.
The yarn has been dyed using professional acid dyes and thoroughly rinsed in order to prevent bleeding, but I would still recommend hand washing on its own for the first wash.
Hand wash garments made with this yarn in room temperature water. Air dry.
The bare wool is sourced from suppliers that do not perform mulesing.
