This listing is for one hank of hand dyed Merino wool DK yarn in a OOAK (one of a kind) variant (trial 9) of the colorway Waiting for A Girl Like You, inspired by the Upside Down in Stranger Things, and the scene where Barb gets pulled into the pool in Season 1, named after the Foreigner song that plays during that scene!
The colors featured in the yarn are intended to represent the brown and tan of the upside down matter, the blue of the night sky and the silver/grey of the pool step handles.
How is this variant different than the final, signature colorway? The placement is different, the blue is lighter, the grey is darker and the brown and tan are richer and more warm.
This yarn would work well for making beanies/hats, cowls, scarves, twisted headbands and more!
This is a DK weight, superwash yarn, composed of 100% merino wool. It contains 230 yd and weighs 100 g.
The yarn has been dyed using professional acid dyes and thoroughly rinsed in order to prevent bleeding, but I would still recommend hand washing on its own for the first wash.
Hand wash garments made with this yarn in room temperature water or machine wash on gentle cycle in cool water with low spin. Air dry.
Sourced from suppliers that do not perform mulesing.
I do accept returns and exchanges. Your happiness as a customer of the shop is very important to me!
