Hand dyed 100% superwash Merino wool DK extra soft yarn in a OOAK variant (trial 1) of the Yarntuary colorway “Birds of a Feather”, inspired by lovebird parrots and named after the song by Billie Eilish.
The main differences between this variant and the final colorway are that this variant only has one yellow (vs two), the green if more muted and darker, the blue is lighter and the orange has less red in it.
This yarn is soft and bouncy. It can be used to make items such as beanies, scarves, shawls, cowls, sweaters and more!
It is a 4-ply 100% Superwash Merino Wool DK weight yarn (246 yd/220 m, 100g/3.5 oz, weight 3).
The yarn has been dyed using professional acid dyes and thoroughly rinsed in order to prevent bleeding, but I would still recommend hand washing on its own for the first wash.
Hand wash garments made with this yarn in room temperature water or machine wash on gentle cycle in cool water with low spin. Air dry.
