Merino wool and recycled nylon sock/fingering weight yarn hand dyed in a one-of-a-kind variant (trial 8) of the Yarntuary colorway “Great Pumpkin Waltz”, named after the song by Vince Guaraldi Trio.
This variant differs from the final colorway in that is warmer in tone. It is a very pretty pumpkin-like color.
The yarn is a yummy, fingering weight, 2-ply, superwash, sock yarn (weight 1), composed of 80% superwash merino wool and 20% recycled nylon. It contains 400 yd and weighs 100 g.
It works up really beautifully and can be used for a wide range of projects, such as socks, sweaters, scarves and more!
As with all Yarntuary yarn, each hank of yarn is dyed individually by hand.
The yarn has been dyed using professional acid dyes and thoroughly rinsed in order to prevent bleeding, but I would still recommend hand washing on its own for the first wash.
Hand wash garments made with this yarn in room temperature water or machine wash on gentle cycle in cool water with low spin. Air dry.
