OOAK Variant (Trial 3) of Part of Me - Hand Dyed Superwash Merino Wool & Nylon Sparkle Sock Yarn

This listing is for one hank of hand dyed superwash SPARKLE sock yarn in a OOAK (one of a kind) variant (trial 3) of the final Yarntuary colorway “Part of Me”, named after the song by Katy Perry.

What’s the difference between the final colorway since this variant? The purple and yellow colors in the variant are colder and there is no orange color seen in the transition from purple to yellow. The brown is also more widespread, rather than being dots throughout. 

This is a 3-ply fingering weight sparkle sock yarn, composed of 60% merino wool, 20% nylon, 20% stellina (for the sparkle). It is 400 yd and 100 g. Sourced from suppliers that do not perform mulesing.

One hank is enough to make a beanie or cowl or fingerless mittens, etc. I made a skinny fringed scarf with one hank! 😝

The yarn has been dyed (by hand) using professional acid dyes and thoroughly rinsed in order to prevent bleeding, but I would still recommend hand washing on its own for the first wash.

Hand wash garments made with this yarn in room temperature water or machine wash on gentle cycle in cool water with low spin. Lay flat to dry.
