This listing is for one luxurious hank of hand dyed Merino wool, cashmere and nylon yarn in a OOAK (one of a kind) variant of the colorway There’s Something in the House, inspired by the Demogorgon from Stranger Things and named after the score track by Kyle Dixon and Michael Stein. The track plays in one of the Season 1 scenes where the Demogorgon appears at Will’s house.

The colors featured in the yarn are intended to represent the body of the Demogorgon and its bloody head. The white, or less red, portions in the bloody head parts are my attempt at showing all his teeth!

Whats the difference between this variant and the final colorway? The red is richer and more of a deep strawberry sauce color and the portion that represents the body is more grey. This one is quite beautiful (the pictures don’t do it justice).

The yarn is soft and luxurious . It can be used to make socks, shawls, sweaters and other garments.

This is a fingering weight, superwash, sock yarn, composed of 80% merino wool, 10% cashmere and 10% nylon. It contains 425 yd and weighs 100 g.

The yarn has been dyed using professional acid dyes and thoroughly rinsed in order to prevent bleeding, but I would still recommend hand washing on its own for the first wash.

Hand wash garments made with this yarn in room temperature water or machine wash on gentle cycle in cool water with low spin. Air dry

Sourced from suppliers that do not perform mulesing.
