This listing is for one hank of hand dyed Merino wool DK-weight yarn in a OOAK variant (trial 4) of the colorway “Horizons”, named after the track by Jasmine Myra.
This colorway is a rich, gorgeous green. The main difference between this variant and the final colorway is this one is a little warmer.
I have to admit, it was inspired by the pretty color of Starbucks straws (I don’t use them, but I do admire that vibrant green with a hint of blue), which is why I named it after Horizons, a song from a jazz album I love that you wouldn’t be surprised to hear at a coffee house.
This yarn is a DK (weight 3), 4-ply yarn, composed of 100% superwash merino wool. It contains 246 yd and weighs 100 g.
This yarn would whip up into a good beanie or cowl and could be combined with more yarn to make a scarf or shawl.
As with all Yarntuary yarn, each hank of yarn is dyed individually by hand.
The yarn has been dyed using professional acid dyes and thoroughly rinsed in order to prevent bleeding, but I would still recommend hand washing on its own for the first wash.
Hand wash garments made with this yarn in room temperature water or machine wash on gentle cycle in cool water with low spin. Air dry.
I do accept returns and exchanges. Your happiness as a customer of the shop is very important to me!
