What’s the difference between this variant and the final colorway? Mainly, the purple and brown colors are lighter and less warm.
Variants are one of a kind hanks made during experimentation and design for the final colorway. They are offered at a discount for no reason other than they aren’t the final version.
The colors in this yarn represent the colors in an amethyst geode or crystal, soft brown, charcoal gray, white and magical warm purple.
This is a unique and spellbinding colorway!
The yarn is a 3-ply fingering weight, superwash, sock yarn, composed of 70% Merino wool, 20% nylon and 10% stellina. It contains 400 yd and weighs 100 g.
The yarn has been hand dyed using professional acid dyes and thoroughly rinsed in order to prevent bleeding, but it is still recommended to hand wash garments made from this yarn on their own for the first wash.
Hand wash garments made with this yarn in room temperature water or machine wash on gentle cycle in cool water with low spin. Air dry.
