PDF instant-download of the This Isn’t You Triangle Shawl Crochet Pattern.
The shawl gets it’s name from Yarntuary’s colorway “This Isn’t You”, inspired by Stranger Things character Barb and the track that plays during the last conversation Barb has before being taken to the Upside Down. The track is beautiful and can be found on the Stranger Things Volume 1 score.
The colors featured in the yarn represent Barb’s hair, jacket, shirt and pants, which look really pretty and unique when stitched up.
This shawl is a great garment for layering and can be worn nearly all year long. It is perfect for summer nights and fall days. Depending on the weather and your mood, it can make a cozy neck warmer or a soft piece to hang over your shoulders.
It truly is beautiful and feels light. You are sure to get compliments wearing this!
Best part: Most of the pattern is repeat sets so once you get going, it is very quick to make!
More about the yarn (and other materials): Only ONE HANK needed to make the shawl. Yarn used is Yarntuary’s This Isn’t You fingering weight, superwash, sock yarn, composed of 75% merino wool, 10% cashmere and 15% nylon. It is 452 yd and 100 g. Size E (3.5 mm) crochet hook, tapestry needle and rust-proof pins to block shawl are also used in the pattern.
You could use any fingering weight you would like of course as long as it had enough yardage. If the yardage is less, you could just take out a few repeat sets. I think this would also look nice in other weights, too, and have worked a little up in Worsted weight.
The skill level of this pattern is advanced beginner to intermediate. If you aren’t sure where you fall, no worries! I will help you if you get stuck and can always send more photos (and even a video) if requested. I am here to answer any questions, don’t hesitate!
Stitches used are chain, slip stitch, single crochet, and puff. That’s it!
I don’t accept returns or exchanges on digital products.
