Sparkly Merino wool superwash sock/fingering yarn hand dyed in the Yarntuary colorway “Mother Big River”, named after the song by Jessica Pratt.
The color of this yarn reminds me of the eggs of Starlings, pale blue with a hint of green. It is a very pretty and tranquil color.
The yarn is a 3-ply fingering weight, superwash, sock yarn, composed of 70% Merino wool, 20% nylon and 10% stellina. It contains 400 yd and weighs 100 g.
The yarn has been hand dyed using professional acid dyes and thoroughly rinsed in order to prevent bleeding, but it is still recommended to hand wash garments made from this yarn on their own for the first wash.
Hand wash garments made with this yarn in room temperature water or machine wash on gentle cycle in cool water with low spin. Air dry.
