Yarnacles canvas pouch/small project bag to store a small project and hold your notions on the go or at home.
The artwork on the pouch was designed by myself, who like any yarn lover, enjoys a good yarn pun. On the pouch is a large rock on an ocean coastline, submerged in the water. Featured in this scene are “yarnacles” (barnacles of yarn) attached to the rock and “hankton” (yarn hank plankton) floating in the sea.
It also features barnacle predators such as the seagull, starfish, crab and whelk. Since the barnacles have become yarnacles, the predators are preying on/really enjoying the yarn. As the sun is rising, they have their coffee at the ready and their yarning tools in hand.
The seagull is sporting a Tunisian crochet hook, the starfish a jumbo regular crochet hook, the crab knitting needles…and the whelk is just devouring the yummy yarn!
It measures 10.75 inches wide by 8.75 inches tall and is big enough to carry a 5x7 notebook, multiple hooks, tapestry needle, writing utensils, scissors, stitch markers, tape measure, ruler hair clip, small hank of yarn and more!
Due to the pouch being a bit bigger than a typical notions pouch, you could even carry a small project with you!
The contrast between the lavender zipper and canvas is pleasing to the eye! Have I convinced you yet that you want this pouch? :)
Even if you aren’t a yarnaholic yourself, you may know someone you could gift this pouch to – people who crochet and knit love getting yarn-related gifts!
