Merino wool superwash lace yarn hand dyed in the Yarntuary colorway “Won't You Call Me”, named after my favorite song off the 2020 album Myopia by Agnes Obel, a beautiful, haunting collection of songs.
This colorway was designed to capture the mysterious blue and black of the album's cover and seems to fit the tone of the song.
This yarn is luxurious and soft. It would make beautiful scarves and shawls.
It is a lace weight, superwash, sock yarn, composed of 100% Merino wool. One hank contains 765 yd and weighs 100 g.
The bare wool comes from South America and is sourced from suppliers that do not perform mulesing.
The yarn has been hand dyed using professional acid dyes and thoroughly rinsed in order to prevent bleeding, but it is still recommended to hand wash garments made from this yarn on their own for the first wash.
Hand wash garments made with this yarn in room temperature water or machine wash on gentle cycle in cool water with low spin. Air dry.
