Merino Wool, Cashmere and Nylon superwash sock/fingering yarn hand dyed in the Yarntuary colorway “Send in the Clowns”, named after the Frank Sinatra song that played during the end credits of the movie “Joker” released in 2019.
This yarn was inspired by the Joaquin Phoenix’s version of the Joker. The color represented in the yarn are that of his green hair, teal face paint, yellow shirt and red suit.
The yarn is soft and versatile as it can be used to make socks as well as shawls, scarves and other garments.
This is a fingering/sock (weight 1), superwash, 4 ply yarn, composed of 80% Merino wool, 10% cashmere and 10% nylon. Each hank contains ~437 yd and weighs 100 g.
The yarn has been dyed by hand using professional acid dyes and thoroughly rinsed in order to prevent bleeding, but I would still recommend hand washing on its own for the first wash.
As with all Yarntuary yarns, each hank is dyed individually by hand so there may be some variation between hanks.
Hand wash garments made with this yarn in room temperature water. Air Dry.
