Sparkly Merino wool and nylon superwash sock/fingering yarn hand dyed in the Yarntuary colorway “Mistletoe and Holly”, named after the song by Frank Sinatra.
The colors represented in this yarn are the leaves and berries of mistletoe and holly. It’s the perfect holiday colorway! On this base, especially so due to the silver sparkles running throughout that remind me of tinsel!
This yarn is luxurious and SPARKLY! It can be used to make socks and other items such as scarves, shawls, cowls, and more!
It is a 3-ply fingering (weight 1), superwash, sock yarn, composed of 70% Merino wool, 20% nylon and 10% stellina. It contains 400 yd and weighs 100 g.
Each hank is dyed by hand and due to the nature of the process, each one is unique. There is not one that is exactly like another. If working with more than one hank in a project, it is recommended to switch between hanks every few rows.
The yarn has been dyed using professional acid dyes and thoroughly rinsed in order to prevent bleeding, but I would still recommend hand washing on its own for the first wash.
Hand wash items made with this yarn in room temperature water or machine wash on gentle cycle in cool water with low spin. Air dry.
