Merino wool superwash sport yarn hand dyed in the Yarntuary colorway “Hankaroni” (or yarn hank macaroni)! There are only two Yarntuary colorways that don’t have musical names and this is one of them.
The cheesy macaroni yellow color of this yarn is so yummy, happy and bright! It makes me happy every time I stitch with it.
Does everything make you think of yarn? What about macaroni?!
At some point, the idea of little hanks of yarn taking the shape of elbow macaroni (by just bending in the middle) crossed my mind. I loved thinking about little cheesy yellow hanks of yarn and had to make it a real thing!
The yarn is 2-ply sport weight, superwash, 100% Merino wool. It contains 328 yd and weighs 100 g.
This yarn is wonderful to work with and has a nice shine. You can make just about any garment you like with this yarn, such as a scarf, shawl, beanie, mittens, etc.
The yarn has been hand dyed using professional acid dyes and thoroughly rinsed in order to prevent bleeding, but it is still recommended to hand wash garments made from this yarn on their own for the first wash.
Hand wash garments made with this yarn in room temperature water or machine wash on gentle cycle in cool water with low spin. Air dry.
The bare wool is sourced from suppliers that do not perform mulesing.
I do accept returns and exchanges. Your happiness as a customer of the shop is very important to me!
