Merino wool, cashmere and nylon superwash sock/fingering yarn hand dyed in the Yarntuary colorway “Gods and Monsters”, named after the song by Lana Del Rey.
This yarn is ridiculously cool looking and vibrant. It would give any item you choose to make with it a unique and modern feel.
The colors in the yarn are a bright creepy light green, a deep blueish purple and black. The black is striped across the green and dotted across 2/3 of the blue/purple areas.
This yarn is luxurious and soft. It can be used to make socks and other items such as scarves, shawls, cowls, and more!
It is 80% Superwash Merino Wool, 10% Cashmere, 10% nylon (425 yd/388m, 100g/3.5 oz, weight 1).
Each hank is dyed by hand and due to the nature of the process, each one is unique. There is not one that is exactly like another. If working with more than one hank in a project, it is recommended to switch between hanks every few rows.
The yarn has been dyed using professional acid dyes and thoroughly rinsed in order to prevent bleeding, but I would still recommend hand washing on its own for the first wash.
Hand wash items made with this yarn in room temperature water or machine wash on gentle cycle in cool water with low spin. Air dry.
