Merino wool and nylon superwash sock weight yarn hand dyed in a OOAK (one of a kind) variant (trial 7) of the Yarntuary colorway “Donut Go Breaking My Heart”, inspired by donuts with pink icing and sprinkles and the song “Don’t Go Breaking My Heart” by Elton John and Kiki Dee.
The colors represented in the yarn are warm donut, pink icing and purple, blue, orange, yellow, red and green sprinkles!
This variant is different from the signature colorway because: the donut color is not as warm, the pink is a little warmer and lighter and some of the sprinkle colors are different.
The yarn is a yummy, fingering weight, 2-ply, superwash, sock yarn (weight 1), composed of 80% superwash merino wool and 20% recycled nylon. It contains 80 yd and weighs 20 g.
It works up really beautifully and can be used for a wide range of projects, such as socks, sweaters, scarves and more!
The yarn has been dyed using professional acid dyes and thoroughly rinsed in order to prevent bleeding, but I would still recommend hand washing on its own for the first wash.
Hand wash garments made with this yarn in room temperature water or machine wash on gentle cycle in cool water with low spin. Air dry.
